This Weeks Finest Five: Work Shoes

I myself do not work in an office so work shoes are not an essential part of my wardrobe, but I know for many people, work shoes are a regular purchase, my mum for one appears to be constantly looking for work shoes. Now, when I did work in an office back in university, I personally always went for black flats, they for me were the easiest thing to pair clothes with, whether that be; pants, skirts, tights, dresses, they went with most office wear. I know many people wear heels for work, but for this post I have tried to go for comfort, whilst still looking smart, that means the majority of my choices are mid to flat heels. So for all you ladies out there looking for some new flats for work…keep reading!

This first pair are actually still in the Office sale, they are Darkness Block Heel Loafers, the current sale price is £40 down from £72. These shoes would work really well with a pair of cigarette trouser for work, or even a dress, the slight heel would also give a little more of a formal look, whilst flattering the legs.

This next pair are very on trend at the moment, showing a fair resemblance to the populare Gucci Mid-Heel Loafer. However, this pair have a much smaller price tag, they are the Office Monty Buckle Fringe Mid Heeled Loafers and will cost you £60. Again these shoes would look great with cigarette trousers or even a skirt.

Number three are actually shoes I own myself, and spoke about in my August favourites, they are the Karter Loafer from Topshop and will cost you £62, for me this is money well spent. They are the comfiest shoes I own, whilst going with pretty much anything, so if comfort is what you are wanting for work, then these need to be your next purchase. Small note, sizes do run slightly big!

Now, these beauties have to be this week luxury pair, they are exclusive to Net-A-Porter, which already suggests a nice high price tag. They are NewbarK’s Melanie Shearling-Paneled Nubuck Loafers, they are pretty special, but will cost you £465. I have included two pictures for this pair as I LOVE how they have been styled on the website.

I hope anyone on the search for new work shoes found this post helpful, if you are not on the hunt for work shoes, you may be looking for something in my next weeks finest five post… you will just have to come back and see.

As always, happy shopping ladies!
