Trend Trials: Gingham

Gingham is everywhere, I think we can all agree the shops are flooded with it, and I couldn’t be happier. Gingham is right up my street, it’s a way to do a print while sticking with my love of monochrome. This spring summer it is well and truly on trend, with the likes of House of Holland, Pringle, Peter Jenson and Peter Pilotto all including it in their Spring Summer catwalk shows.

Now gingham can come in a varied number of clothing items; shirts, skirts, trousers, dresses and the list goes on. Personally I think a gingham dresses would look great this spring summer. However, for my trend trial I have decided on a skirt from Stradivarius. A skirt is something I knew I could get a lot of wear out of, as I could style it in many different ways. Skirts can also be dressed up or down!

Overall, I personally feel gingham is a trend worth adopting. Because of this I have chosen some more of my favourite items to give you more inspiration.
