Ten Under £10 – Beauty Products

Let’s start by saying I am sure there are many amazing products out there for under £10, I think I have tried my fair share in fact. For me, a product that warrants talking about needs to be something I would honestly purchase again and again. Looking through my makeup and beauty draws I did notice a good few ‘under £10 flops’, but that’s a conversation for another day. I have gathered together a nice variety of products, ones that I would happily recommend and one which can be bought in Boots or Superdrug; which is great for everyone reading this in the UK. If you have read previous posts of mine you will know I am currently living in Hong Kong.  Fortunately for me I can get most of these products here, I do though have to stock up on other, less accessible products, when I make a trip back to the UK.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

This one I have definitely spoken about before; it is an old time favorite for me. Apparently though, it is also everybody else’s favourite. I visited three Boots stores whilst I was home over Christmas and not a single store had this in the palest shade. This is just simply a great concealer and i can’t fault it. I gave up in the end and picked an alternative for my trip; the Soap & Glory concealer. I was curious to know if it would rival my favourite, and I can safely say it does not! The coverage is nowhere near as good as the Collection one. Stick with what you know…if you can find it.

Rimmel Brow This Way Eyebrow Gel

Okay, if you are not a strong brow type of girl, then ignore this suggestion. This product has a high pigment strength, resulting in a bold look. If you like filling your eyebrows in with mascara wand applicator rather than an angled brush, then this product is for you. I am a big fan of Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow to fill in my brows, however, when they are freshly tinted I can in fact just get away with this Rimmel product.

Bourjois Little Round Pot Blush

For this selection I have not picked a particular blusher line shade, but rather just the product itself. This is simply just a great blusher, with great pigmentation for the price. If you are on the lookout for a new blusher, then why not try a Bourjois one.

MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighting Powder in Iridescent Gold

This product is one that you can only purchase in Superdrug, and it’s a real bargain at just £3! For that price this has to be the biggest steal in the list. This highlighter has a great pay off and if you’re into an intense-highlighted look, then this product is for you.

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser

Having to manage skin that breaks out easily, I am very weary of the products I use on my face. Cheap cleansers have always made me nervous in the past, so I was relieved to have found this. Cetaphil has been great for removing my make up as well as keeping my skin under control.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Whilst on the subject of removing make up, this product has to have a mention. Now I am pretty sure everyone has either heard of this product, or tried it before, so I’m sure it needs little to no introduction. However for those who don’t know, this product is just a great price…and it actually does the job! I apply this to cotton pads to remove the majority of make up before giving my skin a thorough cleanse.

Real Technique Sponge

I am pretty sure this one has featured in a post before. This is something I always pick up when back in England and over Christmas I actually stocked up with a pack of four! These are again great value and great quality. I use this sponge to apply my foundation, usually I will spray it with a little setting spray before applying. This is a product I am sure I will be using throughout 2017.

Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder

This one is an old time favourite, nevertheless though it’s a good one! If you are on the lookout for a simple bronzer with no added jazz, then this is the one you want. There is not much I can say about a bronzer, why not try for yourself?

NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams

Now, if you are a Matte Lip Cream type of girl, NYX could be for you! If you are wanting to try new shades and don’t want to risk spending £20 on something that will not suit you, then head to a NYX counter. These little beauties offer a wide colour range and have great colour pay off, so why not expand your colour shade range?

NYX Professional Makeup Studio Finishing Powder – Translucent Finish

Okay, it is pretty hard to get excited about a translucent powder. However, if you are a fan of Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder, but not a fan of the price tag, this is the product for you!

Hopefully this post has given you an idea of how to shop for less, when shopping for your beauty products. As always ladies, happy shopping!
