Okay, so for the past few years chokers have been back in fashion, but this season, WOW they are EVERYWHERE! I have to admit I have definitely been a fan of the old choker for a few years now. They can really put a twist on an outfit; you have a pretty little dress that needs a bit of edge … throw on a choker! Not only can they edge up a look, they can also come in pretty inexpensive.
Below I have chosen five chokers I have seen lately, that have really caught my eye.
1
Missguided Moon Pendant Choker Silver, is a beautiful little choker, which would look great in this current summer season. Pair this with a oversized summer dress, beachy hair waves and you will be ready to hit any festival, best of all it comes in at just £5.
2
ASOS 90s Grunge Heart Choker comes in at just £8, and hits the current 90s trend perfectly, this beauty paired with a plain tee and a high waisted denim skirt or jean … you are ready to be an extra in The Craft.
3
ASOS Metal Open Circle Choker Necklace, costs a little more at £15, and looks great on the model with a simple cami. This choker would really dress up a simple cami and ripped jeans look, and make the look a lot more effective.
4
This choker has been a staple the last two seasons, with so many shops and brands making this type of choker, in a variety of fabrics. This particular choker is the ASOS Night Velvet Choker Necklace for just £6. It would work well with so many looks, I personally would style this with lots of monochrome outfit. Unfortunately living in Hong Kong does make this kind of choker pretty uncomfortable, it is simply too hot and humid for something this thick around your neck.

This choker is my most expensive pick of this week, it is this ETTIKA Wrap Necklace from Revolve, costing £43.57. This one is beautiful with the metal and suede mix, as well as being super on trend with the wrap feature. Wrap chokers are probably my favourite type of choker. I like to pair mine with a bardot top, but these also look great with a low front vest or body, for a more seductive look.
Once again ladies, I hope you liked this weeks picks and hopefully they inspired you to experiment with a few chokers of your own.
Happy Shopping Ladies.
