This Weeks Finest Five: Transitional Jackets

September is that awkward time in the UK where the seasons are in transition; it’s not cold enough to wear a coat, but you often need a jacket. Although I live in Hong Kong, I have been enjoying looking at jackets in preparation for when the weather here allows me to wear a one, I am guessing around December time (pretty devastated)! Whilst looking, I have come across some that I thought would be perfect for all you Brits feeling a slight chill. When picking I have tried to keep my styles as varied as I could, as I easily could of chosen five bomber jackets, but thankfully for anybody out there who isn’t a bomber jacket fan (if there is any), then rest assured there could still be an option for you.

This Zara Suede Effect Studded Jacket to me looks pretty expensive, however it comes in at a fairly reasonable £69.99. I was drawn to this jacket because of its classic shape, but bang on trend colour, add in the studs and its pretty perfect really. If you are like me and have a pretty monochrome wardrobe this dusty pink colour will pair nicely with black and white.

Now, I LOVE a bomber jacket, and as I said in the intro it was hard not to simply pick five bombers, I probably could of found 105 the I liked. When I seen this ASOS Embellished Trophy Bomber, I fell in love! This bomber would look amazing day or night, the detailing on it really gives a dressy twist on the normal bomber jacket, if you too love it, it will cost you £75.

When looking at jackets I knew not every outfit suits a short jacket, maybe if you are wearing a long line top or a not so tight fitting dress a short jacket is not the most appropriate. When I seen this New Look Waterfall Jacket With Belt for just £29.99 I thought this could be the perfect piece for throwing over so many outfits.

Miss Guided Raglan Sleeve Scuba Bomber Jacket is this weeks bargain piece at just £18. This would work great as a throw on jacket for an everyday look, pair this with black jeans and trainers and you are ready to go!

Okay, so this last one will not keep you very warm, and is pretty pricey for how thin it is, but it is beautiful! It is currently on sale on The Outnet, it is Elizabeth and James Luna pointelle-trimmed silk crepe de chine jacket and will cost you £127.08. This would look amazing over a body or vest with black skinny jeans and some heels!

Hopefully you enjoyed this weeks post and appreciate my search for jackets other than bombers. Good luck on your own transitional wardrobe!

As always ladies, happy shopping.
