This Weeks Finest Five: Ankle Boots

Okay, if you haven’t already started purchasing your autumn winter pieces, I am sure you will be looking pretty soon. One essential autumn winter staple is a nice pair of boots, and specifically ankle boots! Ankle boots in the past have been my ultimate go too during winter, they are such a diverse piece. They can be worn with a dress, jeans, tights, skirts, pretty much anything! Recently I have been looking around a LOT of stores eyeing up my favourites, so for all you out there on the hunt; I have chosen my top five.

These little beauties are definitely the most statement choice from this weeks selection, but they would look amazing with an otherwise plain outfit. They are Sam Edelman Taye Floral-brocade Ankle Boot, you can purchase these at Net-A-Porter for £140.

This pair go perfectly with this season’s velvet trend; they are most certainly a trend led piece. I was particularly attracted to the heel shape on these boots, as it adds a different feature to an otherwise plain boot.  You can purchase these Literally High Cut Boots from Office for £64.

This pair I actually own myself, I have recently purchased these Contrast High Heel Ankle Boots from my beloved Zara. They are the perfect heel height; not flat, nor are they too high and at a great price too, at just £29.99. I LOVE them …bring on a the cooler weather in Hong Kong!

These boots look super classy. With a lovely amount of detailing and a great heel height, they can transition seamlessly from day time to evening. I think these would look great with a flared cropped trouser, or a white shirt dress! You can track these down in Mango, they are called the Decorative Buckle Boots, costing a reasonable £49.99.

Now, these boots are pretty different to my other choices. They have been put in especially for all the Givenchy studded ankle boot fans out there. Well, those of us who don’t have £895 to spend on a pair shoes anyway! If £85 seems more reasonable, then head over to Office and bag yourself a pair of these Lucky Charm Studded Boots.

Hopefully this post helped give a little inspiration to any of you lovely ladies out there on the search for your AW ankle boots.

And of course, happy shopping ladies!
