Last summer I expressed my admiration for Next’s summer collection, well this year has been no different. Hong Kong summer is truly underway, it’s now extremely hot and humid! Last week I was having a good look through the Next website, looking for some light and airy summer dresses, and I couldn’t believe how much I fell in love with. Thats why in this month’s favourites you will notice a lot of Next items.
This white dress is perfect for summer, I love everything about it, but most of all the length. A white midi is a perfect addiction to anybody’s summer wardrobe and the broderie anglaise design really gives it a high end look.
This little number gave me D&G vibes…I am in LOVE! I do think this piece will not be everybody’s cup of tea, however it certainly is mine.
These sandals are perfect for an outfit that already has a lot going on, when you need a shoe that doesn’t gain too much attention. The lack of an ankle strap is what really draws me to these sandals, typically I find ankle straps on a flat sandal something hard to wear, without feeling like my legs look stumpy. Next have also done this sandal in three different colour ways, however I just love this silver, white and nude colour.
Now, if you have read previous posts of mine, you will be aware that I am a big fan of leopard print and these shoes are no exception! Usually you see leopard print on a loafer, so seeing the print on a sandal is a welcome surprise.
Okay, so we have finally moved on from Next, these River Island slides are the perfect option if you’re looking for something dressier. They would look great with jeans or a dress, they could be very diverse.
This bag is right up my street, basically I love the majority of animal prints and this snake skin effect is amazing! I love that the bag includes four different colours; which allows it to match many outfits, or offer a way to jazz up an otherwise plain look. In my option Uterque don’t do much wrong with regards to bags and shoes!
I have been looking for these beauties for what feels like forever. I have seen them all over Instagram and they couldn’t be more up my street. I LOVE them, and I love what they can do to an outfit. Unfortunately I am yet to see them in any of the Hong Kong H&M stores, so fingers crossed when I am back in England in a couple of weeks I will be able to pick up a pair in the Liverpool store. I have noticed they are sold out a lot online, so after searching I have seen some VERY similar in Mango.
Okay, so the snake skin effect features again, but how could you not love this bag! The colours are super on trend and the simple design allows for it to accompany many outfit choices. AND it’s currently on sale, so now really is the time to pick up this beauty.
Sticking with Mango, I have found a little clutch. Not something I would usually pick up because of the colour, though strangely it is the colour that I actually love! I think this would be a great statement colour with an otherwise monochrome outfit.
As you may have guessed now, I am a big fan of red accessories, I think they can really make an outfit. I personally have a lot of monochrome clothes and red is the perfect statement colour to mix with an otherwise black and white outfit.
Okay, so I have finally had to stop myself, as I could of gone on for pages and pages! There have been so many things I’ve seen recently that I have loved, probably because I am attempting a no spend month. One good note to mention; lots of the products featured above are on sale or actually come at a pretty reasonable price. This month all the items featured cost under £100. I hope all you ladies are enjoying the sales, and as always, happy shopping!
