Today’s post talks about exploring stores you wouldn’t necessarily associate with office-wear, yet they contain some hidden gems. I want to focus the majority of this post on one shop in particular; Uniqlo! Living in Asia means Uniqlo is a pretty common store, however I know Uniqlo does exist in many countries across the world.

Uniqlo is known for its extensive range of basics, but that’s not to say you can’t purchase more exciting pieces! Checked trousers are EVERYWHERE right now, places like Topshop and Zara in particular are doing some really good ones. I say “why not pay half the price and go to Uniqlo!” I managed to pick up both my top and bottoms in Uniqlo, and I have to say I was pretty surprised!

Although I don’t work in an office environment, I really enjoy the ‘office-wear’ look. This look I think would be perfect for the office, and not to mention super comfortable. These pants have just enough stretch in them to make them great for comfort, yet smart enough for work.

 Of course there are many stores out there that are traditionally thought to stock smart work wear, however why not explore less obvious choices. This Autumn/Winter suiting was a huge trend on the catwalk, and we all know that trends feed down to the High Street, which means suiting is everywhere!

So if you are on the look out to update your work wardrobe, why not head to Uniqlo! Of course some of you may be like me and just enjoy the look, after all the checked pants are super on trend.
