With the end of Jan fast approaching, it’s a very awkward time for shopping. The shops are still full of sale pieces, now I love a good bargain, but knowing in just a couple of weeks the shops will be full of new season stock makes me reluctant to spend money on anymore winter clothes. As lots of the high street have already started to introduce new pieces, I wanted to talk about sensible purchases that will not only look great in spring, but can be worn right now in the colder temperatures! When looking for transitional pieces, you have to think about how they can be styled for numerous weather sinarios.
Recently I have bought this Zara Midi Skirt With Side Split. I purchased this skirt with spring fully in mind, however with around six weeks till Hong Kong gets warm again, I had to find a way to wear it now! In colder temperatures this skirt can be paired with boots and a jumper, then when summer rolls around swap the jumper for a cami and the boots for some heeled sandals.
Skirts and dresses are the perfect transitional pieces! I have be scouring the web to find other great pieces that can see you through the rest of winter and right through to the end of summer.
