Living in Hong Kong means city life accompanied by beach weather. Diversity is key when choosing clothing pieces; I want clothes that I can wear around the city, as well as on my beach vacations. Dresses are great for transitioning from city to beach, especially with the linen trend that is popular this season. Personally, I like the option of wearing a dress with heels for an evening, sandals in the day and flip-flops around the pool.
This Zara dress I have featured in this post is one of my favourite new pieces, I have worn this recently with heels for brunch, with flat for a day out and I fully intend on packing it for my up coming trip to Vietnam. This piece is linen, which meant it was nice and cool for walking around during the day, however I think the wrap over and neckline design create a dressy look also suitable for an evening occasion.
